One of the oldest conflicts in the world has flared up again since 2020: the conflict between the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) and Morocco. Morocco controls 80% of Western Sahara, where the mineral deposits and fish-rich waters are located, and the Sahrawi people want the Moroccans out.
