Two civil wars between 1989 and 2003 have traumatised Liberian society. More than 250,000 people died, thousands were forced to carry out inhumane acts as child soldiers, and countless war crimes were never brought to justice. Today, another war is ravaging the country: the synthetic drug Kush is ruining lives with one in four in Liberia thought to be addicted.
