It's a new, tragic and little-known phenomenon in the UK: migration back to the continent. Some migrants who crossed the Channel illegally, making dangerous crossings in small boats are now trying to cross the sea in the other direction, desperate to leave a country where their asylum applications are pending, and they are stuck in legal limbo.
