Italy and university humanitarian corridors

Palestinian professors and students from the Gaza Strip are temporarily continuing their work in exile in Italy. This initiative follows the destruction of all universities in Gaza due to the war. Under a strictly regulated humanitarian university corridor, they have been granted access to research and teaching facilities with the long-term goal of returning to rebuild their academic institutions.
