In Serbia, tens of thousands of students have been demonstrating against the government since November 2024, triggered by the collapse of the canopy at Novi Sad station, which killed 16 people. The protests have grown week by week, becoming a large-scale citizens' movement against the corruption and cronyism of the Serbian government.
