Conductor Jaan-Eik Tulve and his Vox Clamantis choir give a special performance for the 30th edition of La Folle Journée: An a cappella concert featuring works by Duruflé, Bruckner, Pärt and Von Bingen, as well as Gregorian chants. Including Arvo Part was a natural choice seeing as Jaan-Eik Tulve and Vox Clamantis also come from Estonia. Four works by the immense Baltic composer fill the Cité des Congrès de Nantes auditorium: Missa syllabica, Nunc dimittis, Da pacem, Domine and And I Heard a Voice, sitting next to other works like an excerpt from Quatre Motets sur des thèmes grégoriens by Maurice Duruflé, Gloria by Helena Tulve (performed for the first time in France) and O ignis Spiritus by Hildegarde Von Bingen.
