Living out your old age in a nursing home? In Pescueza, it is unthinkable. Here, the 150 residents are unanimous: the elderly should grow old in the village where they were born, grew up and feel at home. In this small settlement in the province of Caceres, halfway between Madrid and Lisbon, a cooperative is working to ensure that every senior citizen can access the help they need.
