The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan led the European Union to launch a civilian mission in February 2023. Its staff are responsible for monitoring the borders and interacting with the local population. Their aim is to strengthen security and contribute to stability in the border areas of Armenia. ARTE follows the team on the ground.
