The growing demand for fruit and vegetables in Europe is raising concerns about water management in Spain. A dispute has flared up between the tourism and agriculture sectors around the Tagus river, the largest watercourse in the Iberian peninsula, from which water is diverted south to irrigate Spain's booming agriculture sector.
