In 1972, in Germersheim, West Germany, the second edition of the British Rock Meeting saw some of the most prestigious bands of the day take to the stage, including Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Rory Gallagher and Status Quo at an enormous gathering of the hippie generation.
