Pollution, overfishing and climate change are taking their toll on the Sea of Marmara: There is a serious lack of oxygen in the Turkish waters between the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles. In 2021 a heavy layer of slime covered the sea, showing the world how bad the situation is. Can the Sea still be saved?
