Thousands of kilometres from Moscow lies Nizhny Tagil, or “Tank City”. Uralvagonzavod, a local company, is based there and produces war tanks that are used by the Russian army in the war in Ukraine. While the company racks up huge profits from its activity, local inhabitants pay the cost by living with intense pollution. A portrait of a poverty-stricken place in the Ural Mountains.
