Upcycling: Fashion Punks against Fast Fashion16 min
Available until 21/04/2028
Upcycling is all the rage. But the pioneers didn't wait for it to be cool before salvaging second-hand clothes and fabrics. Since the 1990s, JJ Hudson, alias Dr Noki, a figure of the London underground, has been transforming used clothes into wearable works of art, hijacking logos and brands to strip them of their advertising power. In Paris, Lamine Badian Kouyaté, founder of Xüly Bët, deconstructs sportswear and reuses fabric scraps to create unique pieces.
