Italian pasta could soon cost American consumers twice as much. In Italy, the sector also faces a serious threat that could put thousands of jobs at risk. Starting in January, the United States plans to impose a 107% tariff on Italian pasta. This measure follows an investigation into two Italian producers covering the period from mid-2023 to mid-2024.
