Victim

Irina, a Ukrainian single mother, lives with her 13-year-old son Igor in a small Czech border town. One night, Igor is violently beaten. When he regains consciousness, he claims the attackers were Roma. As the town’s outrage grows, Irina begins to notice inconsistencies in his story. Her search for the truth reveals the fault lines of prejudice that run through the community.
