Mapping the World

Faced with the perceived Russian threat on its border, in the Arctic, the Barents Sea and around the Svalbard archipelago, the Norwegian government has launched a massive rearmament programme, with the reinforcing of its NATO commitment, an investment in naval defence and a major increase in military presence the far north.
