The Dark Side of a French Classic52 min
Available until 21/04/2026
In 1928, the novel Belle de Jour by Joseph Kessel shocked bourgeois France. The story of Sévèrine, a happily married well-to-do woman who lives out her sexual fantasies by prostituting herself in a brothel, caused an even bigger stir in 1967 with Luis Buñuel's film adaptation starring Catherine Deneuve.
