Water Bathing Quality in Europe

The European Environment Agency has published its annual report on bathing water quality. 96% of bathing waters meet EU quality standards, and over 85% are of excellent quality. But the assessment criteria have been criticised: The results measure only bacteriological pollution and not chemical pollution.
