Asaf Avidan made a name for himself worldwide with hit single "The Reckoning Song (One Day)", first released in 2008. Central to his music is that instantly recognisable falsetto voice reminiscent of Janis Joplin, which he modulates with accents that are sometimes high and clear, sometimes husky and deep.
