Peter Szabo is a pepper producer in Hungary, dried to make the famous Hungarian paprika. The ancestral know-how and passion for paprika was handed down to him from his parents and grand-parents. But in today’s globalised world with competition from China and labour shortages at home, the future for small pepper producers in Hungary looks difficult.
